So apparently in that Japanese Stitch! anime, Lilo is not, in fact, retconned out of existance. The series actually serves as a sequel to the movie: after the events of Lilo & Stitch (and the subsequent spinoff show/movies), Lilo grew up and left for college. She promised that she would come back to visit Stitch on a scheduled day. However, Nani ended up becoming pregnant and Lilo had to take care of her, forcing her to miss her meeting with Stitch. He spent the entire day waiting for Lilo, and when she never arrived he assumed that she had outgrown him. Heartbroken, he left Hawaii and went back into space. Sometime later he once again crashed on a tropical island, except in Japan. He met Yuna, a young girl there who reminded him of Lilo, and the two became good friends. Three years after that, Lilo finally managed to track down Stitch and left for Japan with her young niece But when Lilo saw that he had found a new little girl to be friends with, she decided to keep her distance from him and let go of the past. Unbeknownst to Lilo, Nani’s daughter escaped from daycare and spent the day with Stitch, eventually revealing that her Aunt Lilo was with her. Lilo took the girl and quickly left. Stitch felt rejected and confused, but Yuna convinced him to chase after her and reconcile their friendship. Lilo explained that she was afraid that if Stitch saw her, he would want to leave his new friend. She told him that she’s grown up and that he should show Yuna all the joy and adventure growing up that Lilo did. Lilo and Stitch finally made peace with each other again and hugged, still united as an Ohana.
This isn’t even fan fiction, guys. This is freaking canon.
the only thing that bothers me is that Stitch was banished specifically to Hawaii, specifically with Lilo as his handler. This must have been bureaucratic hell in space.
You forgot the most badass part: He fights youkai in Japan.
im sorry john
Not the normal submission I know but I felt the need to share. All I can say is that I feel bad for the robin that had to make that drink.
Reblogging because I like making Alan cry
Wait, I think I’ve heard of this! It’s like this urban legend among Starbucks barristas - supposedly, this guy came into a store when the place was dead, and asked how he could make the most expensive Starbucks drink possible. Supposedly, the barristas decided to take him at his word, and they constructed this monstrosity - each version I’ve heard has a different absurd ingredients list, but this might be the actual Patient Zero right here - just because they were bored and the guy was really cool about it. Apparently he left them a fucking awesome tip, too, which I could believe since he clearly had a wad of cash on him at the time (as evidenced by the “change due” at the bottom of the receipt).
So actually, rather than make me cry, I’m sorta happy to have evidence that this story might be real!
EDIT: Rachel pointed out the date on this, which is only a couple of days ago, and I was told this story months ago. So maybe… maybe this is a case of an urban legend coming true via the telling of it, and someone wanting to make it real? Either way - fascinating.
I like that there are urban legends about coffee in the barrista circle.
Like there’s a crazy caffeine Knight’s Templar mystery novel in the making, right there.

Sharks get a bad rap for being dangerous predators that are constantly devouring humans, but there is a whole world of things out there that will kill before a shark does. Here are just a few of those things.
WHO THE FUCK GETS KILLED BY A FUCKING VENDING MACHINE
if the homestuck fandom applied their observational skills to school or work instead of a webcomic they would all be extremely successful in life i have never seen such a large group of people able to pick up tiny tiny details and loopholes in a plot ever before holy shit
As a Xbox fan from day one this is my thoughts on what they said about the Xbox One….
